Metro53 - Lahore: Renowned Pakistani film star Reema Khan has expressed concern over the conduct of some hosts and podcasters, saying they often adopt an inappropriate tone when interacting with artists.
Speaking in a recent television interview, Reema Khan commented on ongoing controversies involving Meera and Resham. She criticised a podcaster’s line of questioning directed at Meera, describing it as regrettable.
She said that artists in Pakistan are often not given due respect, with interviewers focusing on their personal lives rather than their professional work — a practice that, she added, undermines both the guest and the credibility of the host.
Referring to Resham, Reema Khan praised her for her graceful way of speaking and expressed good wishes for her future. She also advised her to rely on personal judgment rather than believing hearsay, and to carefully assess situations before forming opinions.
