Metro53 - ISLAMABAD: The federal government on Friday increased the prices of petroleum products, raising petrol by Rs14.92 per litre and high-speed diesel by Rs15 per litre for the coming week.
According to the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol has been raised to Rs414.78 per litre from Rs399.86, while high-speed diesel will now cost Rs414.58 per litre, up from Rs399.58.
The revised prices came into effect immediately and will remain in force for one week, the division said.
The latest increase comes amid continued pressure on consumers already facing elevated transport and fuel costs across the country
