Metro53 - SARGODHA: A free medical camp organized by the World Welfare Association was held in Alipur Syedan, a rural locality in Bhera Tehsil of Sargodha district, providing healthcare services to hundreds of residents.
A team of medical professionals examined approximately 225 patients during the camp. The initiative also included free breast X-ray screenings and ultrasound services, while all patients were provided with medicines at no cost.
The event was attended by the organization's district office-bearers and patron for Sargodha Division, Ijaz Baloch, along with President Muhammad Kamran, Senior Vice President عمران Ali, Vice President Firasat Shah, and General Secretary Adil Baloch.
World Welfare Association Chief Executive Officer Rana Abdul Sattar visited the camp and supervised the medical activities. He praised the efforts of the district team and acknowledged the contributions of philanthropists whose financial support made the initiative possible.
Speaking on the occasion, Rana Abdul Sattar said that the World Welfare Association is a registered non-governmental organization (NGO) that has been operating since 1991. He noted that the organization has enjoyed Special Consultative Status with the United Nations since 2012.
He said the association is committed to serving underprivileged communities through free medical camps, humanitarian assistance, food distribution, educational support for children, protection and shelter services for women, and initiatives aimed at creating employment opportunities.
He reaffirmed the organization's commitment to continuing welfare projects designed to improve the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged segments of society.
