Metro53 - LAHORE: Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Salman Mujahid Baloch has claimed that the report on the Gul Plaza tragedy has gone missing, alleging uncertainty over its whereabouts.
Speaking on a news channel's programme "Jawab Do with Farrukh Warraich," Mr Baloch said MQM-P had been informed that the report was either with the Ministry of Law or another government department, but no one was able to confirm its exact location.
"The information provided to us suggests that the Gul Plaza tragedy report is either with the Ministry of Law or some other department. Its whereabouts remain unclear," he said during the programme.
Responding to the allegation, Sindh government spokesperson Mustafa Baloch rejected the claim, accusing MQM-P of politicising the issue.
He said the provincial government would soon provide the report to MQM-P, adding that there was no intention to withhold the document.
The exchange comes amid renewed discussion over the Gul Plaza tragedy, with both sides trading claims regarding the status of the official inquiry report.
