Metro53 - GUJRAT: A prized buffalo belonging to a poor farmer died after unidentified assailants allegedly severed its teats in Kotla Arab Ali Khan, within the jurisdiction of Galyana police station, local residents said.
According to reports, the buffalo, owned by farmer Muhammad Hussain, sustained critical injuries in the incident and later succumbed to them.
The affected farmer and residents of the area strongly condemned the incident and demanded the immediate arrest of those responsible.
They urged the Gujrat district police officer (DPO) and the station house officer (SHO) of Galyana police station to conduct a thorough investigation, bring the suspects to justice, and ensure the victim receives legal relief.
