Metro53 - GUJRAT (Adil Mirza): A political gathering was held in Jamon Bolah village near Mangowal, hosted by senior Pakistan Muslim League (Q) leader Chaudhry Muhammad Azam Waraich.
The gathering was attended by party workers, supporters and political figures from across the area.
Addressing the participants, Chaudhry Muhammad Azam Waraich said, “Money can buy votes, but it cannot buy consciences.” He said a vote is a national trust and urged people to make their electoral decisions carefully and according to their conscience.
Waraich said public trust is the most important factor in politics, while public support should be based on performance and confidence rather than pressure or financial incentives.
Political slogans in support of the leadership were also raised during the gathering.
The participants discussed the prevailing political situation in the area, public issues and the future political strategy. The event brought increased political activity to Jamon Bolah, while political contacts and consultations are expected to continue at the local level ahead of the upcoming elections.
