Metro53 - Karachi (Web Desk) — Age is merely a number, and learning has no fixed time. A retired government school teacher from Tharparkar, Sukh Ram Das, has proven this true by earning a law degree at the age of 79 from the University of Karachi.
Sukh Ram Das, father of eight sons and one daughter, enrolled in the Department of Law at the University of Karachi at the age of 74, and successfully completed his degree at 79.
He belongs to the village Helaryo Pir in Tehsil Diplo. According to him, the primary purpose of obtaining a law degree was to support himself and help the poor people of his area in resolving issues, including land disputes.
By finding solutions to these challenges, Sukh Ram Das has set a practical example for the new generation.
