Metro53 - Lahore (Web Desk): Speaker of the Punjab Assembly Malik Ahmad Khan has said that the use of abusive language against Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz reflects a particular mindset.
According to Daily Jang, while addressing a press conference in Lahore, he said that when they were informed that the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa wanted to visit the Punjab Assembly, it was welcomed. However, he added that people were brought into the assembly whose names were not even available with the authorities.
Malik Ahmad Khan said that when their names were checked against the lists, they began pushing and creating disorder.
Speaking about the visit of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi to Lahore, the Punjab Assembly Speaker said that every action within the Punjab Assembly is governed by law.
He said that to enter the assembly, either prior permission or at least a national identity card is mandatory, and security matters cannot be ignored under any circumstances.
