Metro53 - Lahore (Web Desk): There is a possibility of four consecutive holidays in Lahore on the occasion of Basant celebrations. According to sources, Thursday, February 5, is already scheduled as a public holiday due to Kashmir Day, while Saturday and Sunday are regular weekly holidays.
The district administration has also proposed a holiday on Friday. If approved, Lahore will observe four consecutive days off.
During the holidays, traffic pressure in the city is expected to remain lower than usual, and the movement of motorcycles on roads is also likely to decrease, making commuting easier for citizens.
Basant celebrations in Lahore are expected to take place on February 6, 7, and 8. The administration has advised citizens to exercise caution during the festivities and strictly follow traffic rules. Additional traffic arrangements will also be made to prevent any untoward incidents.
