Metro53 - Gujrat (Web Desk): Sarai Alamgir police have arrested a wife and her friend for allegedly murdering her husband in the village of Sardhok.
Under the supervision of DSP Sarai Alamgir Circle Dr. Mumtaz Ahmad Maken, SHO Thana Saddar Sarai Alamgir Aftab Rasool Chauhan and Sub-Inspector Ghulam Rasool led a police team, using modern technology and human intelligence, to carry out a raid. The suspects, Naila Bibi and her friend Zeen-ul-Taf (son of Altaf Hussain, resident of Chelianwala), were apprehended, and the murder weapon—a knife—and a sheet used in the crime were recovered.
During interrogation, the suspects confessed to the crime, revealing that they were friends and decided together to kill Naila’s husband, Wajid Hussain, resident of Sardhok, by strangulation and stabbing. Further investigation and legal proceedings are ongoing against the arrested individuals.
