According to Daily Pakistan, the federal minister said that Pakistan places great importance on its long-standing and strong relations with Kuwait and is ready to sign the proposed Labor Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which could be finalized during the upcoming visit of the Crown Prince of Kuwait to Pakistan.
Both sides reviewed the positive outcomes of recent high-level exchanges, noted the constructive response of Kuwaiti authorities, and discussed measures to enhance labor cooperation. Chaudhry Salik Hussain requested access to the PAM portal for Pakistani workers and overseas employment promoters to facilitate and streamline the recruitment process.
Emphasizing the contribution of the Pakistani workforce, the minister said that Pakistani workers have historically played a significant role in Kuwait’s development and possess the skills and capabilities required to meet Kuwait’s future needs, particularly in infrastructure and other key sectors.
Both parties agreed to advance labor cooperation and to institutionalize regular bilateral consultations and engagements. Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain also extended an invitation to the Kuwaiti side to visit Pakistan.
