Metro53 - Lahore (Web Desk): The Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to change the name of Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
According to reports from private TV channels, the board has invited proposals for the stadium’s new name. Interested parties can submit their proposals to the PCB until March 24.
The PCB had previously issued a tender to change the stadium’s name, but in 2024 an agreement between the board and a private bank could not be finalized.
Under the new plan, the PCB is expected to receive around PKR 1 billion for a five-year period through the stadium’s naming rights. Stakeholders have now been given the opportunity to submit their suggestions for the new name of the iconic cricket venue.
