Metro53 - Lahore (Web Desk): Senior analyst and journalist Zulfiqar Rahat has claimed that former Prime Minister Imran Khan may be released from jail and could celebrate Eid al-Fitr at home.
According to details, during a discussion on a YouTube program with host Naeem Saqib, Zulfiqar Rahat stated that a meeting had allegedly been arranged between Asim Munir and PTI founder Imran Khan, during which misunderstandings were reportedly resolved.
He further claimed that both sides have agreed to move past previous issues and that 2026 could become a year of elections in Pakistan.
During the program, host Naeem Saqib also remarked that a leader who often speaks about unity of the Muslim Ummah had been kept in jail, though the discussion remained centered on political developments and speculations surrounding Imran Khan’s possible release
