Metro53 - Karachi (Web Desk) — The Banaspati Manufacturers Association has warned of a potential increase of Rs100 to Rs150 per kilogram in ghee and cooking oil prices.
According to the advisory from PMVA, the rise in petroleum product prices has significantly increased the cost for mills. Transportation and production expenses for ghee mills have surged to unsustainable levels.
The PMVA advisory urged the government to immediately form a panel to explore measures for controlling and reducing prices.
