Metro53 - LAHORE: The final of the Pakistan Super League season 11 will be played today at Gaddafi Stadium, where Hyderabad Kingsmen will take on Peshawar Zalmi in what is expected to be a closely contested title clash.
The match is scheduled to begin at 7pm, bringing the 44-match season to a close. Hyderabad Kingsmen, appearing in the final in their debut campaign, will be chasing a maiden title, while Peshawar Zalmi will be aiming for their second PSL crown.
Before the final, a colourful closing ceremony will be held at the stadium. Performances by Atif Aslam, Ali Azmat, Arif Lohar, Aima Baig and the Sabri Sisters are expected to entertain spectators ahead of the match.
At a meeting chaired by Mohsin Naqvi, arrangements for the final were reviewed in detail. The Pakistan Cricket Board said special emphasis had been placed on ensuring smooth arrangements and spectator convenience.
Cricket fans have been advised to reach Gaddafi Stadium by 6pm to avoid delays and to watch the closing ceremony before the start of play.
