Metro53 - GUJRAT: Galyana police arrested two suspects during a crackdown against drug dealers and illegal weapon holders, officials said on Friday.
According to police, the operation was carried out by SHO Galyana Inspector Syed Abbas Ali Shah along with ASI Nadeem Ali, ASI Mohammad Nadeem and other personnel.
The arrested suspects were identified as Nabeel Ahmed, son of Nazeer Ahmed and a resident of Dhal village, and Naseebullah, son of Faiz Ahmed and a resident of Mianwali.
Police said a 30-bore pistol and 10 litres of liquor were recovered from the possession of the suspects during the raid.
Separate cases have been registered against the accused, while further investigation is under way.
Police authorities said operations against criminal elements would continue to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property.
