Metro53 - GUJRAT: A police official was killed in a road accident in Mangowal, tehsil Kunjah, after a speeding car collided with a motorcycle on Kiranwala Road, rescue officials said.
According to initial reports, the car went out of control and rammed into the motorcycle, resulting in a severe collision.
The victim was identified as 38-year-old Mohammad Shakeel, a police employee and resident of Pore Khar. He died at the scene.
Rescue 1122 teams reached the site shortly after the incident.
After police completed legal formalities, rescue officials shifted the body to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital for post-mortem examination.
Police said further investigation into the accident was underway.
