Metro53 - RAWALPINDI: Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu paid an official visit to Türkiye, where he held meetings with the country’s senior defence, air force and aerospace leadership, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The military’s media wing said the air chief met Turkish Air Force Commander General Ziya Cemal Kadioglu as well as Türkiye’s Minister of National Defence Yasar Guler during the visit.
According to ISPR, Air Chief Marshal Sidhu also held discussions with the Chief Technology Officer of Baykar Technologies, focusing on defence cooperation, aerospace innovation and advanced technologies.
The meetings reaffirmed the longstanding defence partnership between Pakistan and Türkiye, while both sides expressed commitment to further enhancing collaboration in the fields of aerospace development and emerging technologies.
The ISPR said the Pakistan air chief was accorded a warm and historic welcome at the Turkish Air Force Headquarters, where a smartly turned-out contingent presented him with a guard of honour.
