Metro53 - QUETTA: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir on Monday said Pakistan’s progress could not be obstructed through propaganda campaigns or foreign-backed terrorism, reaffirming the armed forces’ resolve to eliminate militancy from the country.
According to the military’s media wing, the field marshal visited the Quetta Garrison, where he was received by the Quetta corps commander. During the visit, he appreciated the professional standards and training environment at the Command and Staff College Quetta.
Mr Munir emphasised the importance of continuous training and adaptation to modern technology in view of evolving warfare requirements. He said sustainable peace in Balochistan depended on people-friendly policies and improved governance.
He also praised the morale and operational preparedness of security forces and reiterated that efforts for lasting peace in the province would continue.
