Speaking on the occasion, Chaudhry Shafay Hussain said that he had raised the issue of the airport's restoration with Khawaja Asif and expressed optimism that flight operations would resume soon. The provincial minister also highlighted that, on the instructions and request of Maryam Nawaz, an air ambulance service has been launched for the people of Gujrat. He said the service would enable the rapid transfer of critically ill patients from Gujrat to major cities across the country during emergencies, strengthening the province’s emergency healthcare response system.
