The deceased, Qasim Gujjar, was regarded as a talented kabaddi player who had earned recognition across the Gujranwala Division for his performances and was also remembered for his good character and sportsmanship.

According to allegations circulating among relatives and residents, Qasim was reportedly invited by acquaintances and was allegedly served a juice containing poison. These claims have not been independently verified, and authorities have not yet publicly confirmed the cause of death.
