Metro53 - Gujrat (Web Desk): Heavy rainfall has once again triggered urban flooding in Gujrat, leaving roads, streets and residential areas submerged under several feet of water.
According to Samaa TV, rainwater entered homes, damaging residents’ valuable belongings and raising serious questions over the performance of the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA).
The rainfall also disrupted the power supply, leaving citizens confined to their homes amid intense heat and humidity. Daily life and business activities were severely affected as large parts of the city remained inundated.
