Metro53 - GUJRAT (Web Desk): A delegation of lawyers from the Gujrat Bar, led by ILF President Chaudhry Irfan Bashir King Advocate and including PTI leader Chaudhry Muhammad Nawaz Waraich Advocate, welcomed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi during his visit to Gujrat.
According to the statement, the reception was organised on the directions of PTI President and former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, former federal minister Chaudhry Moonis Elahi and Sameera Elahi.
PTI supporters gathered at Ramtalai Chowk in Gujrat and showered flower petals on Sohail Afridi as part of the party's ongoing street movement.
Despite the imposition of Section 144 and police intervention, participants raised slogans calling for the release of former prime minister Imran Khan. The gathering was accompanied by chants of “Free Imran Khan.”
PTI supporters said they participated in the street movement despite difficulties and restrictions, demonstrating their continued support for the party and its leadership.
