Metro53 - An FIR has been registered for the terrorist attack on a police check post in Sadiqabad that claimed the lives of five Elite Force personnel. The case includes charges of terrorism, murder, attempted murder, and other serious offenses.
According to the FIR, heavily armed members of the Andhar, Lolai, Bukhrani, Mirani, Mohana, Dashti, and Korai gangs attacked the police check post from all sides with heavy weapons.
Tanzeer Andhar, the ringleader of the Andhar gang, reportedly fired three rocket launcher rounds, killing police officials Irfan, Saleem, Nakheel, Ghazanfar, and Khaleel on the spot.
Police stated that the attackers also damaged a police mobile and the check post. A total of 28 named suspects and 5 unidentified attackers were involved in the incident.
Reinforcements arrived, and an exchange of fire ensued. In the police’s counter-operation, notorious dacoit Sona Dashti was killed, and Malook Lolai was injured, but the criminals managed to escape with their wounded accomplice.
Authorities confirmed that Tanzeer Andhar, Gul Hassan, and Ahmed Shobi are on Punjab’s most-wanted list, each carrying a bounty of Rs 10 million.
The attack has caused widespread panic in the area, while security forces have launched a large-scale search operation to arrest the culprits.
