Metro53 - Lahore (Web Desk): In the case of issuing threats to former Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa, an Anti-Terrorism Court has sentenced banned Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) leader Pir Zaheer-ul-Hassan Shah to 35 and a half years in prison.
Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Arshad Javed announced the verdict after the completion of the trial, sentencing the convict to a cumulative 35.5 years of imprisonment under various sections of the law.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 600,000 on Pir Zaheer-ul-Hassan Shah.
A case against the convict was registered in 2024 for issuing threats.
