Details of the Police Operation

According to police, the operation was conducted at multiple locations. During search operations, a large quantity of drugs, liquor, and illegal weapons was recovered from the suspects. These recoveries indicate that organized illegal activities were being carried out in the area.

Police officials said the suspects had been under surveillance for some time. The operation was launched on the basis of credible intelligence, and no resistance was encountered during the arrests.

Arrests and Recoveries

During the operation, 1,360 grams of hashish were recovered from Ghulam Raza. Twenty liters of liquor were seized from Fazal Haq, while 15 liters of liquor were recovered from Amir Naveed.

Similarly, 620 grams of hashish and a 30-bore pistol were recovered from Muzammil Qadeer. Ten liters of liquor were seized from Munawar Hussain, while a 30-bore pistol was also recovered from Bilawal Hussain. All recovered items have been taken into police custody.

Legal Action and Investigation

Police confirmed that separate cases have been registered against all arrested suspects. Further investigation is underway, including efforts to trace the supply chain of drugs and illegal weapons.

Officials emphasized that violations of the law will not be tolerated. Drugs and illegal arms pose a serious threat to society, and indiscriminate action against such crimes will continue.

The DPO Gujrat appreciated the performance of Dinga Police and reiterated that the protection of citizens’ lives and property remains the police’s top priority. Citizens have also been urged to report suspicious activities promptly.
