Metro53 - Gujrat (Web Desk): The district administration in Gujrat carried out strict action against encroachments and poor sanitation arrangements, sealing multiple shops on Court Road. The operation was led by Assistant Commissioner Gujrat, Abdul Qadeer Zarkoon, who took immediate notice of public complaints and the deteriorating civic order in the area.
According to the administration, the action was taken due to serious issues including temporary and permanent encroachments, construction debris left on roads, and improper disposal of garbage. These establishments had occupied roads and footpaths, causing severe inconvenience to traffic flow and pedestrians.

He stated that encroachments and unhygienic conditions not only damage the urban environment but also lead to accidents, adding that indiscriminate action against such violations will continue.
