Metro53 - Gujrat (Web Desk) – Gujrat police in Sarai Alamgir continue their operations against drug traffickers. Under the supervision of DSP Sarai Alamgir Circle Dr. Mumtaz Ahmed Mekin, and in line with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s “Crime-Free Punjab” vision, Bolani Police Station conducted an effective operation and arrested a drug dealer.
According to details, SHO Bolani Police Station Ehsan Latif, along with his team, arrested Shafqat Subhani, son of Ejaz Ahmed, belonging to Rajput community, resident of Mandi Bhalwal. The police recovered 1,320 grams of hashish from the suspect, estimated to be worth millions of rupees.
A case has been registered against the arrested suspect under relevant sections, and further investigation is underway. The Gujrat Police spokesperson stated that operations against drug traffickers will continue without discrimination.
