Metro53 - Gujrat (Web Desk): Kariyanwala Police carried out a crackdown against gamblers in their jurisdiction, arresting six accused and recovering cash worth Rs 28,000 along with playing cards used for gambling.
According to details, on the directives of DPO Gujrat Rana Umar Farooq, strict action against criminal elements is underway across the district.
Under the supervision of DSP Saddar Circle Rai Sarfraz Yousaf, SHO Kariyanwala Police Station SI Munir Hussain and his team conducted a swift operation based on intelligence information and apprehended six individuals involved in gambling activities.
Further investigation of the arrested suspects is ongoing. Police stated that such actions are being ensured to strengthen the rule of law and maintain peace in the area.
