Metro53 - New York (Web Desk) – U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a warning to Venezuela’s Vice President Delcy Rodríguez, stating that if she does not act correctly, she will pay an even heavier price than Nicolás Maduro.
Rodríguez has assumed presidential responsibilities by court order. In a news conference, she demanded the immediate release of Nicolás Maduro, reaffirming that he is the only legitimate president of Venezuela. She also declared that Venezuela will not become a colony of any foreign nation and pledged to defend the country and its natural resources.
The warning comes following recent U.S. military operations in Venezuela’s capital and other locations, during which President Nicolás Maduro and his wife were arrested and transferred to the United States.
