These remarks are being described as the beginning of a new crisis for the region, while the international community has also expressed serious concern.
According to details, President Trump, while speaking aboard a special aircraft during his return from Florida to Washington, said that Colombia is currently under weak and unstable leadership. He stated that the country is being run by an individual who lacks the capacity to remain in power for long. According to President Trump, Colombia’s internal situation is becoming a threat not only to the country itself but also to the stability of the entire region.
Regarding potential military or political action, the US president said he likes the name “Operation Colombia,” reflecting how seriously the United States views the matter. He further stated that elections in Venezuela will be held when conditions are conducive and the public can freely exercise their right to vote. According to President Trump, all US soldiers injured during the recent operation are now in better condition and are being provided with proper medical care.
