Metro53 - Gujrat (Web Desk): Tehreek Tahafuz Aain Pakistan workers were present in large numbers on GT Road in Gujrat under the leadership of Chaudhry Tariq Mahmood Sahi to welcome the convoy of Tehreek Tahafuz Aain Pakistan.
During the gathering, two to three vehicles carrying police personnel and individuals in plain clothes suddenly arrived at the scene. They allegedly smashed the windows of all large and small vehicles parked in the convoy, causing severe damage to expensive vehicles.
Police personnel reportedly resorted to baton charge on the workers, resulting in several Tehreek Tahafuz Aain Pakistan workers sustaining injuries, while many others were taken into custody.
The use of unjustified force against the peaceful and constitutional reception of Tehreek Tahafuz Aain Pakistan in Gujrat is termed a clear violation of the Constitution and is strongly condemned.
