Metro53 - Gujrat (Web Desk): Pakistan Muslim League leader Chaudhry Hussain Elahi has said that overseas Pakistanis are the true asset and pride of Gujrat district, and their contributions are widely recognized and appreciated.
Addressing an Overseas Convention, Chaudhry Hussain Elahi stated that the district of Gujrat stands and progresses due to the hard work, dedication, and commitment of overseas Pakistanis. He said their efforts and services are not hidden from anyone.
He observed that in many cases, second- and third-generation Pakistanis living abroad become disconnected from their homeland. However, overseas Pakistanis from Gujrat have not only preserved their identity but have strengthened their bond with their roots. He added that they continue to serve their native areas and elders with even greater dedication.
Chaudhry Hussain Elahi further said that welfare activities are ongoing in most villages of NA-63 with the support of overseas Pakistanis. Through their hard-earned income, they are playing a vital role in supporting poor families and helping resolve local issues, which is a matter of great pride for Gujrat.
He said that the sole purpose of the convention was to express gratitude to overseas Pakistanis. He emphasized that examples of their hospitality and service are well known, and the prosperity of Gujrat is a direct result of their tireless efforts and continuous contributions.
