Metro53 - Riyadh (Web Desk): Chief of Air Staff of the Pakistan Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar, met with Saudi Arabia’s Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Fayyad Al-Ruwaili, during his visit to the Kingdom. The meeting featured a detailed exchange of views on Pak-Saudi military relations, regional security, and other important matters.
During the meeting, Lieutenant General Fayyad Al-Ruwaili warmly welcomed Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar. Both leaders emphasized the need to further strengthen Pakistan–Saudi defense relations and agreed to enhance cooperation in view of shared challenges.
On this occasion, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar also held a meeting with the Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Force, Lieutenant General Turki bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz. The two air force chiefs agreed to further promote bilateral military cooperation and to work jointly on shared initiatives.
Senior military officers from both countries were also present during the meetings, where discussions were held on expanding defense collaboration and future plans. Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar stated that these meetings provide an opportunity to further strengthen Pak-Saudi relations and mutual trust.
The military leadership also stressed the importance of cooperation in the context of regional security and shared threats, so that both countries can play a joint role in promoting peace and stability in the region. Further progress in Pak-Saudi defense relations is expected as a result of this visit.
