Metro53 - Gujrat (Web Desk): A passenger bus collided with a container near the Passport Office on GT Road in Gujrat, leaving 13 people injured. Rescue 1122 teams reached the accident site immediately after receiving the report.
The rescue operation involved 13 rescuers and 7 emergency vehicles and was led by a senior rescue officer. According to rescue officials, the injured included 11 men and 2 women. The injured men were identified as Zafar Iqbal (45), Zahid Hussain (40), Muhammad Nawaz (42), Shabbir Hussain (55), Mohsin Ali (17), Zulfiqar (54), Naveed Iqbal (60), Waqas Ahmed (40), Sajid (40), Muhammad Iftikhar (37), and Ashish Yousaf (20). The injured women were identified as Saima Bibi (75) and Raziya Bibi (60).
Rescue 1122 officials stated that all the injured were conscious. After providing first aid, nine injured persons were shifted to Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Hospital, while four with minor injuries were treated on the spot. Authorities said the condition of all injured persons is stable and further medical care is ongoing.
