Metro53 - Madhya Pradesh (Web Desk): Police in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh have arrested two sisters and an associate for allegedly running a sex racket, involving forced religious and gender conversion, and sexual assault. Three other suspects remain at large.
According to Indian media, the sisters previously lived in a slum in Abbas Nagar but, after allegedly undergoing gender conversion, relocated to a luxurious house under new identities as men. Investigating officers believe their assets were acquired through illegal means.
The case came to light when two women, aged 21 and 32, filed similar complaints at Bagh Seonia police station. The victims stated that they were lured from low-income backgrounds with promises of domestic work, a monthly salary of ₹10,000, accommodation, and an improved lifestyle.
The FIR alleges that the women were later taken to parties, clubs, and lounges, where they were given drugs and sexually assaulted. One victim claimed that in December 2025, a group member took her to Ahmedabad and subjected her to rape.
Another victim, a domestic worker, alleged that a man named Chandan Yadav raped her and issued death threats. The case also includes allegations of forced religious conversion.
During the arrests, police confiscated the suspects’ mobile phones, which contained suspicious WhatsApp groups and numerous photographs of girls. Bhopal police suspect that the operation may be part of an interstate network, with connections extending to Gujarat and Mumbai.
