Metro53 - Islamabad (Web Desk) – Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Chaudhry Faisal Mumtaz Rathore met with Spain-based prominent business personality Chaudhry Imtiaz Aakya at Kashmir House in Islamabad.
During the meeting, matters concerning issues faced by overseas Kashmiris were discussed in detail. The Prime Minister stated that the government has paved the way for investment in the state, giving top priority to overseas Kashmiris in this regard. He emphasized that Azad Kashmir serves as the base camp of the freedom movement and acknowledged the vital role played by overseas Kashmiris in effectively highlighting the Kashmir issue worldwide.
On the occasion, Chaudhry Imtiaz Aakya congratulated the Prime Minister on the successful organization of the Overseas Kashmiris Convention. He appreciated the establishment of a special court and commission to address the issues of overseas Kashmiris, stating that these steps have significantly boosted their confidence.
Chaudhry Imtiaz Aakya also extended an invitation to the Prime Minister to attend the Overseas Pakistanis Convention scheduled to be held in April in Barcelona. Ali Furqan was also present at the meeting.
