Metro53 - Los Angeles (Web Desk): A shooting incident occurred outside the Beverly Hills residence of international pop star Rihanna, after which police detained a female suspect.
According to U.S. media reports, the Los Angeles Police Department received reports of gunfire and officers quickly arrived at the scene. Initial investigations suggest the shots were fired toward Rihanna’s home, and several assault-rifle shell casings were recovered from the location.
Law enforcement sources said that Rihanna was reportedly inside the house at the time of the incident but remained safe. Police stated that a woman, believed to be around 30 years old, stopped her car outside the property and allegedly fired about seven shots before fleeing the area.
Authorities later located the suspect’s vehicle nearly eight miles away and took the woman into custody. Officials have not yet publicly disclosed her identity, and the possible motive behind the incident remains unclear.
Reports say bullet marks were found on the house gate and on a vehicle parked in the driveway. During a search of the suspect’s car, police reportedly recovered an assault rifle along with multiple shell casings.
Rihanna lives at the residence with her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, and their three children. The couple has two sons and welcomed a daughter a few months ago.
This is not the first serious incident linked to Rihanna’s property. In 2018, a man trespassed into her Hollywood Hills home by jumping over the fence and stayed inside for nearly 12 hours before being arrested. A court later ordered him to stay away from the singer for ten years.
Authorities confirmed that fortunately no injuries were reported in the latest incident. So far, neither Rihanna nor her representatives have issued an official statement regarding the shooting.
