NYT Investigation Disputes Trump Claim on School Strike

Metro53 - New York (Web Desk): A report by The New York Times has challenged a claim made by Donald Trump regarding an alleged Iranian attack on a girls’ school.

According to the newspaper’s investigation, the school was reportedly struck by a missile during a military strike, resulting in the deaths of more than 160 girls. The report states that analysts examined video footage showing a Tomahawk missile hitting a nearby naval base.

Experts analyzed satellite images, social media posts, and other video evidence. Their findings suggest that the elementary school was damaged at the same time the naval base of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps was being targeted.

Earlier, Donald Trump had claimed that the strike on the school may have been carried out by Iran. Speaking to journalists, he said Iranian weapons are often inaccurate and that the United States was not involved in the attack.

However, the newspaper report says the available evidence does not support Trump’s claim and indicates that the missile which struck the school was linked to the same strike operation targeting the naval facility.
