Metro53 - Rawalpindi (Web Desk) – Like the rest of the country, Eid-ul-Fitr prayers were held at Adiala Jail today.
According to jail sources, ordinary prisoners offered Eid prayers in the jail’s main mosque and Imambargah. However, for security reasons, Imran Khan, the founder of PTI, was unable to attend the Eid prayer and remained in his cell during the prayers.
Sources indicated that Imran Khan may speak with his children over the phone today, and a meeting with Bushra Bibi is also expected.
Eid-ul-Fitr is being observed across the country today with religious devotion and respect.
