Metro53 - Lahore (Web Desk): Senior lawyer, former senator and Pakistan Peoples Party leader Aitzaz Ahsan has expressed serious concern over the health of PTI founder Imran Khan and announced that he is willing to donate his eye for him.
Speaking in a special conversation with Metro 53, Aitzaz Ahsan said that the former prime minister has lost 85 percent of vision in one eye. He stated that Parliament should play its role in this matter and all facts should be presented before the public. He urged the judiciary to act on humanitarian grounds by granting immediate bail and ensuring proper medical treatment for Imran Khan.
Aitzaz Ahsan further said that Imran Khan will never make any deal nor will he flee the country. He questioned the justice system, saying that keeping any prisoner in solitary confinement for 60 days and denying meetings with lawyers and family members is unacceptable.
Responding to a question by a Metro 53 journalist, Aitzaz Ahsan, following a similar statement by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, also announced his willingness to donate his eye for Imran Khan.
