Metro53 - Gujrat (Web Desk) — Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and PML-Q leader Chaudhry Salik Hussain has said that his party’s alliance with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) remains intact at both the federal and Punjab levels, but some local workers in Gujrat are not willing to uphold it.
Speaking to the media after meeting MNA Chaudhry Muhammad Ilyas in Sarai Alamgir, Salik Hussain stated that both PML-N MNA Chaudhry Naseer Abbas Sidhu and MPA Syed Madad Ali Shah have been invited to development projects in Lala Musa. He emphasized that the objective is to resolve public issues, warning that personal egos and conflicts often push public welfare to the background.
He further said that courts already exist at the federal level to address the issues faced by overseas Pakistanis, and similar institutions are being established in Punjab.
During the meeting with Chaudhry Muhammad Ilyas, detailed discussions were also held regarding ongoing development projects in the constituency.
