Metro53 - GUJRAT (Web Desk) – A disturbing incident of violence against a laborer has been reported in the Lari Adda area of Gujrat, where the District Police Officer (DPO) has taken immediate notice.
According to police, Zeeshan Dar, a resident of Mohalla Kalu Pura, who worked for Mehr Adnan, was allegedly subjected to torture after a dispute. The accused reportedly assaulted him and cut off his eyebrows.
Officials stated that the victim had initially not filed any complaint at the police station. However, after taking notice of the incident, police traced him and shifted him to a hospital for medical examination.
Police confirmed that the accused, Mehr Adnan, has been taken into custody, and legal proceedings are underway. Authorities emphasized that a thorough investigation is being conducted and those responsible will be dealt with strictly in accordance with the law.
