Metro53 - GUJRAT: Police have arrested three suspects following an alleged assault on a citizen in Dandi Bazaar of Sara-i-Alamgir tehsil, officials said on Friday.
The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Bolani police station, where a man — reportedly an overseas Pakistani — was subjected to violence. Taking notice of the matter, the District Police Officer ordered immediate action.
Police said a prompt operation led to the arrest of three suspects identified as Ali Hassan, Nabeel and Mohsin Munawar. Legal proceedings have been initiated against them, while further investigation is underway.
Preliminary findings suggest that the incident stemmed from an ongoing dispute between the parties. Police officials said the accused were in custody and the case was being probed from all angles in accordance with the law.
