Metro53 - LONDON: British screenwriter and producer Jemima Goldsmith is reportedly engaged to Irish-Australian financier Cameron O'Reilly after a relationship of around one year, according to British media reports.
The reports said Ms Goldsmith, 52, and Mr O’Reilly, 62, had been dating for the past 12 months and had recently decided to marry. Sources quoted in British media said the two first met through professional work linked to documentary projects before their friendship developed into a relationship.
Mr O’Reilly is a businessman and investor who previously held senior roles at media companies including Independent News & Media and APN News & Media. He is also the son of late media businessman Sir Anthony O’Reilly.
According to the reports, the couple divide their time between Switzerland and London. People familiar with the matter said members of Ms Goldsmith’s family have also met Mr O’Reilly.
Neither Ms Goldsmith nor Mr O’Reilly has publicly confirmed the reported engagement. Ms Goldsmith was previously married to former Pakistani prime minister Imran Khan from 1995 until their divorce in 2004.
