Metro53 - GUJRAT: A dignified farewell ceremony was held at the DPO Complex in Gujrat on the transfer of SP Investigation Mehr Muhammad Riyaz of Punjab Police.
The ceremony was attended by District Police Officer Gujrat Akhtar Farooq, senior police officers and office staff.
On the occasion, SP Investigation Mehr Muhammad Riyaz was presented with bouquets, while flower petals were also showered on him as a gesture of respect and farewell.
DPO Gujrat Akhtar Farooq praised the officer’s services, stating that Mehr Muhammad Riyaz performed his duties with honesty, dedication and commitment during his tenure, providing valuable services to the people of Gujrat.
He added that such officers would always be remembered for their professional conduct and public service.
Speaking at the event, SP Investigation Mehr Muhammad Riyaz said his time in Gujrat would remain a memorable chapter of his career.
At the end of the ceremony, DPO Gujrat presented an honorary shield to the outgoing officer.
