Metro53 - GUJRAT: Former Member of the National Assembly Chaudhry Abid Raza Kotla has expressed profound sorrow over the Pakistan Army helicopter crash in Muzaffarabad, which claimed the lives of military personnel on board.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, Mr Kotla described the incident as a tragic loss for the nation and paid tribute to the soldiers who lost their lives while performing their national duties. He said the sacrifices rendered by the country’s brave servicemen in the line of duty would always remain a source of pride for the nation.
“The martyrs dedicated their lives to safeguarding Pakistan’s security, peace and sovereignty. Their courage, commitment and spirit of service deserve the highest recognition,” he said.
Mr Kotla extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks. He also prayed that the families be granted strength and patience to endure their loss.
The former lawmaker said the entire nation stood in solidarity with the armed forces during this difficult time, adding that the sacrifices made for the defence of the country would never be forgotten.
He remarked that the blood of the martyrs would continue to serve as a symbol of Pakistan’s resilience, stability and national strength.
