Metro53 - Gujrat (Web Desk): Acting promptly on a woman's harassment complaint, the City Lalamusa Police Station has arrested the suspect within a few hours.
According to the Gujrat Police, operations against criminal elements are ongoing across the district under the directives of District Police Officer (DPO) Gujrat, Faisal Shehzad. In connection with these efforts, the City Lalamusa Police took swift action upon receiving a complaint from a woman and apprehended the suspect accused of harassment.
Immediate Police Action
Under the supervision of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Lalamusa Circle, Dr. Mumtaz Mekan, Station House Officer (SHO) City Lalamusa Police Station, Mahr Ehtisham Arif, along with a police team, conducted the operation.
According to police officials, a case was registered immediately after receiving the woman’s application, leading to the suspect’s arrest within a few hours.
Identity of the Suspect
The arrested suspect has been identified as Sher Ali, son of Imran Asif, a resident of Kasba Mohallah, Lalamusa.
