Gujrat Police launch major crackdown on drug dealers and illegal arms holders, 11 suspects arrested

Metro53 - Kharian Police Circle continued its operation against drug traffickers and illegal arms carriers, arresting 11 suspects and recovering narcotics and weapons worth millions of rupees.

During the crackdown, police seized over 2 kilograms of ice (crystal meth), more than 3 kilograms of heroin, over 2.5 kilograms of hashish, 14 liters of liquor, and four 30-bore pistols.

According to details, under the supervision of DPO Gujrat Rana Umar Farooq, and monitoring by DSP Kharian Circle Shahid Mehmood, SHO Thana Gulyana SI Mubashir Nawaz carried out a successful operation with his team, arresting eight suspects.

Those arrested include:
Shahbaz Ahmad, Abid Hussain, Qasim Altaf, Dawood Aslam, Muhammad Hussain, Qamar Abbas, Muhammad Bilal, and Fazal Deen.

From their possession, police recovered:

  • 1,258 grams of ice

  • 1,160 grams of hashish

  • 14 liters of liquor

  • 4 pistols

Meanwhile, SHO Thana Sadar Kharian Inspector Toqeer-ul-Hassan, along with his team, conducted another operation against drug dealers and arrested three more suspects.

These suspects include:
Shahbaz Khan, Sarfraz Khalid, and Usman Khan, from whom the police recovered:

  • 1,100 grams of ice

  • Over 3 kilograms of heroin

  • 1,635 grams of hashish

Separate cases have been registered against all arrested suspects, and investigations are currently underway.
