Metro53 - Islamabad (Web Desk) — Senator Faisal Vawda on Wednesday warned that the May 9 suspects hiding in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, along with others involved, should “mind their own business.”

Commenting on the political situation, he said that if Chief Minister Sohail Afridi acts hastily, even minor political manoeuvring could be curtailed under governor rule.

Vawda emphasised that, under the Constitution and law, family visits are permitted for welfare checks, and lawyers are allowed to meet clients regarding their cases. However, he added that any family meetings or legal interactions carrying political messages will now be prohibited.

Criticising parties allegedly spreading unrest, he said the situation had reached a critical point and that cases and related matters would be pursued to their logical conclusion.

He further stated that attempts to destabilise the country or malign the armed forces would be firmly prevented.

The senator concluded by saying that the principle remains: “double love for love, double respect for respect, and double action against mischief.”
